Rotherfield Parish Council refuses 2nd Highfields Farm application. Object to WDC now

Whilst we welcome new properties in Rotherfield to keep us modern and attractive to newcomers, this second application sadly doesn’t deliver any further improvements to the original objections made with its first application. You may find the objections to this in our Library section at the bottom but in short the plans do not address the drainage, sewerage and access issues raised before. It doesn’t fit into the landscape and towers above the current houses in New Road - encroaching upon their privacy. There is no social or affordable housing option for people to consider. We oppose it and have written our objection to Wealden. We advise you to do the same if you can. The deadline is 2nd February 2026
