The development would conflict with national and local planning policies to conserve and enhance the High Weald National Landscape
The development would significantly harm the landscape and rural character of the local area
The development would be detrimental to the residential amenities of neighbouring properties by way of overbearing, overlooking and loss of privacy
The additional traffic generated by the development would present a danger to road safety
The development would add to the surface water flooding that already occurs along New Road
The development would cause pollution and a health risk because of inadequate foul sewerage provision
The development would increase pressure on local services
